AVX has released a new line of ultra-wideband capacitors specifically designed to handle broadband isolation from 16KHz to 40GHz. AVX 's new GX03 series of ultra-wideband capacitors offer ultra-wideband performance, ultra-low insertion loss, excellent return loss and X7R characteristics. The GX03 series is suitable for semiconductor data communication, optical receiver components, transimpedance amplifiers and test equipment applications.

Rated at 50VDC with a temperature range of -55°C to +125°C, the new GX03 series of ultra-wideband capacitors have a 0603 package size, no polarity, and use AVX's patented precision film tip process to reduce board space . AVX's GX03 series capacitors are available in nickel-tin or nickel-gold ends and can be bonded to nickel-gold tip parts using a variety of soldering methods including gold wire bonding.
