Summary:

The DPA-Switch greatly simplifies the design compared to designs that use separate devices. This design uses coupled output inductors and synchronous rectification for excellent cross regulation and high efficiency.

• High efficiency: 90% efficiency at 36 VDC input with synchronous rectification
• Dual output cross adjustment rate is good: the cross adjustment rate from no load to full load on the two outputs is ±4%
• Output overload, open loop and over temperature protection
• 300 kHz switching frequency allows for adequate transformer reset time during synchronous rectification
• 3.85 × 2.25 × 0.6 inches (~9.62 W/in3)
