Photosensitive resistors should pay attention to the following problems in use:

(1) The spectral characteristics of the source used for metering must match the photoelectric characteristics of the photoresistor;

(2) To prevent the photoresistor from being affected by stray light;

(3) Prevent the electrical parameters (voltage, power consumption) of the photoresistor from exceeding the allowable value;

(4) According to different purposes, select the photoresistor with different characteristics. Generally speaking, when used for digital information transmission, it is better to use a photoresistor with a large difference between bright resistance and dark resistance, and try to use a photoresistor with a large illumination index; for analog information transmission, select a photosensitive light with a small illumination index value. The resistance is good because the linear characteristics of the photoresistor are good.
