TDK Co., Ltd. (President: Sakamoto Kenhiro) developed the MHQ1005P series of laminated ceramic inductors with the same Q characteristics as the wound inductors , and started mass production in April 2012. This product is used in high frequency matching circuits for mobile devices such as smartphones and mobile phones.

The TDK MHQ1005P series has a Q characteristic of 65 in the 1 GHz band (with an inductance of 2.7 nH), which is equivalent to a wound inductor of the same size and inductance.

In addition, in the 2.4 GHz band (the standard inductance value of the 2N7 product is 2.7nH), the Q characteristic is 108, which is equivalent to a wound inductor of the same size and inductance value.

The high Q characteristics of this series are realized by TDK's advanced material technology and optimized internal structure. Higher self-resonant frequencies are achieved by using advanced materials to reduce losses. In addition, the Q characteristics are improved by optimizing the internal structure by using an L-type terminal or the like.

Through the above technological innovations, this product achieves lower material cost and efficient and low-loss circuit design compared to wound inductors with the same high Q characteristics.

The MHQ1005P series offers the E24 series from 1nH to 10nH and the 27th inductor value of the E12 series between 12 and 15nH.
