This compact (12.1mm x 4.5mm x 4.5mm), surface mount 600VDC fuse is suitable for overcurrent protection of high voltage DC circuits. . The 485 Series fuses are designed to provide overcurrent protection for high energy DC circuits and applications. This family of fuses, while small in size, has high voltage and high-energy protection, providing important advantages for today's circuit designers. The fast-blow characteristics of the 485 Series fuses provide high speed protection under inrush current and overload conditions. Its ceramic housing ensures robust performance and long-term reliability, even in high-temperature environments (-55oC to 125oC).

The 485 Series fuses are smaller and more economical than the large, traditional through-hole 600VDC fuses, providing circuit designers with an ideal alternative to cost-effective circuits that meet industry-leading surface mount design trends. It is rated for currents from 500mA to 3.15A and is certified by the UL Component Approval Program.
