December 22 news, according to technology website Engadget reported that Sony's new handheld PlayStation Vita has sold 321,400 units in Japan in the first two days of launch, but this sales compared to its rival Nintendo 3DS or a little disparity.
It is reported that Nintendo 3DS sold 371,000 units within two days of launch. However, this result has not been maintained for too long. The subsequent sharp decline in sales has forced Nintendo to cut its price sharply, even affecting the company’s fiscal year performance.
In order to avoid such embarrassment, Sony has equipped 24 games for PlayStation Vita, but Sony executives believe that it will take more effort to maintain sales in the coming years.
