It is a great honour to be able to participate in this event. Because I am doing it in colleges and universities, it is clear to everyone that universities are still more focused on cutting-edge research. The theme of the exchange I give to everyone today is actually two levels. The first is that in the future, this unmanned or self-driving car needs to communicate between the car and the car, and between the car and the road. The first topic I talked about was that the driverless car needs information security protection.

First of all, let's take a look. Actually, in terms of driverlessness, it faces several major factors at present or in the future. I have summarized it into three major elements:

(A) Coupling of people and vehicles. Just now Peng always mentioned that the next stage will definitely involve the process of switching between manned and unmanned driving. This process is inevitably experienced, and it is not a very short process. It may be a long process of several years or more than a decade. At this time, how do we achieve the co-drive with the car, the coupling of people and cars, there are many problems to be studied here.

(b) How to coexist with co-existence of manned driving and unmanned driving, how to achieve co-existence, and how to carry out safety control, is an important issue.

(c) Coupling of roads. Now where does the idea of ​​the driverless car come from? It is from military needs. The unmanned driving of the military vehicle was first proposed. At the end of various contests, it evolved into a civilian vehicle. However, the civilian vehicle has not escaped this main line. Why? Because it can bring direct economic benefits to the owner, because the freighter will not throttle for a few tens of dollars. The cost savings brought about by the attractiveness of profits is even higher than that of vehicle insurance. Therefore, this future vehicle formation is a very promising field. Of course, there are open areas and time is limited. I will not say it.

After the large-scale realization of unmanned vehicles, why traffic jams? Where is the main block? We know that there are entrances and exits on the ring roads, there are intersections on the city's main roads, that is, the traffic lights, and even the toll gates on the highways. After the ETC, it is blocked less, because the traffic is faster. With the exchanges in the future, combined with driverless driving, high-efficiency traffic can be achieved, and the problem of congestion is relieved to some extent.

Just now we have laid so many ideas that our center would like to introduce the idea that the future will definitely depend on unmanned vehicles. This is an important area in the development of artificial intelligence throughout our country. This is my future. How does a group of driverless cars come together to synthesize intelligence? This piece of Beihang is also a high-precision center established by Beijing Municipality. The key problem to be solved in the high-precision center is that in addition to the basic scientific issues, the computational intelligence of the data, and the cognitive mechanism of the brain, another important The aspect is the direction of landing. The core function is through the interaction between the road test facilities and the on-board facilities. We can now see along this function that the information of the road test signal lights is synchronized with the information contained in the car. This can realize two functions. One is as ordinary people.
