Coastal Power Supply District 35-kilovolt Substation Capacity Increased Transmission

On October 27, the Binhai Power Supply Subsidiary completed the capacity increase of the 35 kV substation in the school district, and the new 20 kV transformer was put into operation, which provided guarantee for meeting the increase in load demand of the colleges and universities in the district. The 35 kV station in Xuefu District is located at the intersection of the 13th Avenue and Huanghai Road in the Tianjin Economic and Technological Development Zone and adjacent to the Xuefu District of the Development Zone. In recent years, many colleges and universities and high-tech research and development companies represented by Tianjin University of Technology have settled in this region, directly driving the rapid growth of regional load. The original two transformers with a total substation capacity of 40 thousand kVA have failed to meet the load requirements in the academic district substation. After this increase in capacity, the station's total capacity increased by one-third to reach 60,000 kVA. At the same time, the branch company introduced a new power source from the rural 220 kV station to the Xuefu District station, making the station form a dual power supply structure, and further enhancing the reliability of power supply.
