A month ago, a price list for the Llano APU processor was exposed. It seems reasonable but the product model and AMD later established a very big difference. Now that the mobile version of the Llano APU has been released, the desktop version is finally in sight and prices are starting to clear.
Llano APU desktop top model is called A8-3850, quad-core, clocked at 2.9GHz, secondary cache 4MB, integrated graphics core Radeon HD 6550D, 400 stream processors, frequency 600MHz, thermal design power 100W, dual channel support DDR3-1866 memory.
This flagship model is currently quoted at US$150 in North America and EUR129.99 in Europe, equivalent to about RMB1,000.
Another high-end model A6-3650 also appeared. It is also quad-core, clocked at 2.6GHz, secondary cache 4MB, integrated graphics core Radeon HD 6530D, 320 stream processors, frequency 443MHz, thermal design power is also 100W, supports DDR-31866 memory.
The price currently given by the A6-3650 is 126 US dollars, 109.25 euros, the lowest 800 yuan. Obviously, Llano APU will also take the cost route.
The Llano APU desktop platform is expected to be officially released in mid-July.
